There is a new artisan cooperative forming in west county. ( see explained details in an Aug 9th general community postiing)
We will be meeting on monday Aug. 13th at 5:30 in Monte Rio at 20406 Church st., across
from the theater. This meeting will outline our mission briefly and answer any questions
from interested participants. If you are interested in being a core member please bring
examples or photographs of your works to expediated your membership approval.
(Consignment artists are also encouraged to bring examples as well) With approval and
commitment from the artist in line, a deposit of 100$ will be required. This will be the
standard one time amount due with any new membership. With this meeting we are also
looking to solidify dates and times for a fundraiser to help with our remodel costs. Also we
will discuss and outline the materials we will need to complete the remodel and take that info
home to divide and conquer the county.
Come! be a part of a true community-building effort in keeping artists and their work alive. Then watch as we move together to re-energize a space and send rainbow ripples through a town in west county that is clearly moving from the back burner.
