:tourch2: You know I'm just not sure if I'm ever going to be in another relationship. Now when I say that I am not coming from a "poor me" stance, rather I'm really wondering if I'll meet someone that is compatible. I know that there are a lot of great guys out there, but I'm not meeting them. Don't get me wrong, I've met some really great guys but not the right ones.
It's not as if I'm :whip: a demanding woman, I'm not. In fact I'm rather easy going.

Some people even think I'm rather:hamster: cute.

Oh well, what can I do? I'll just do what I do and if I meet someone great, if not....I've got my:pawprint: :Hello kitty: cats to keep me company.

Hi Sunshine!...You know, recently, I have been changing the "Ain't getting none!"...in my life...relative to many aspects...all about abundance...just by picturing it for myself. I know it sounds silly yet, it works. I just see myself where I would like to be in my life, and it is comming nearer. Even so, there is always the predator of the mind...the non believer...protector of insecurities...make no mistake, doubts are not stronger than your hearts desire...especialy if it is good for you. You can realize what ever grows in your garden. Gee, not that I have all of the answers...but you do! Cheers, from one who would love to see all of us being happy, alive, smiling.

Try it...perhaps your Sister Mary Aint' Gettin None will trade for Sister Mary...Sweetness Under the Sun

Hi Jill,

You're not giving the guys a lot to go on. Age range? Other requirements for you? What about a description of yourself? Will you offer to swap a picture over email? Are your straight? ... bi? ... polyamorous? What do you like to do for entertainment?

Just a few thoughts.

I'd like to see a dating section on Wacco where folks like Jill could post a profile and some details about what they'd like to find. I know Barry is working on ideas for it, but perhaps a few requests from Waccos with details on what they'd like to see would help Barry out.

Also, should this be a premium area where posters would pay a few extra bucks for the privelage to post in that section? Some dating services cost a pretty penny to join.

I agree 100% with everything you said, "Braggi" (I know your real name but I don't want to give it away just in case).

I especially like the idea of starting a new "dating" section "looking for friends to socialize" section here in Wacco with the possibility of paying for access to it. If this depends on more input from Waccolites then Barry has my very strong request that he initiate this new "Meet Up" section, which would expand the Waccobb list.

A reflection on this might be that in the beginning, it might be best for the "social" section to be free to fatten it up first and then later start charging money after it's a full house, so to speak.

Regards,

Edward

It's already free, and it's already a section on relationships.

I've always been curious why it has so little traffic too, considering all the workshops, therapists, coaches, law of attraction adherents and healing technologies of every imaginable kind found on wacco.
My thoughts exactly! If any singles out there have any ideas for what role WaccoBB.net could play that you would be interested in supporting, please let me know, either privately or publicly.

Note that you can upload a photo on your User Profile (https://www.waccobb.net/forums/profile.php?do=editprofile) and there are several text fields where you can enter pretty much anything you want, along with links to any more developed profiles you might have on the web such as dating sites, myspace, etc. You can search the Member's list (https://www.waccobb.net/forums/memberlist.php?do=search) by relationship status too!

I would love to see people organize singles hikes, beach trips, movie nights or other outings in the Conscious Relationship category! Or just post looking for a date! As in the rest of the online dating world, you never know who will respond, so be prepared to send or receive a polite refusal, as well as meeting your soulmate!

I could also see another WaccoBB.net singles/fundraiser party at some point if there's interest. At the first one, we had stickers for people's relationship status (single, attached, other) that seemed to work pretty well.
