If you feel more comfortable answering this question in a private email exchange, I am open to receiving !

1) My intent of this thread is to get a better understanding of the community's feelings and needs.

2) I wish to discover why more community members are not contributing their voice on Wacco Talk / Wacco Reader discussion threads.

So my questions are:

1) What either Prevents or Encourages YOU , as a community member, from participating in discussions and contributing your viewpoints, or 'voice'.

2) What would make a difference for YOUR participation? :hmmm:

Please know that your privacy WILL BE respected !

Thank you for supporting the vibration of community!

Thank you for honoring my request

Thank you for sharing your "Truth" !

Well, I don't know why you insist on private responses, but I choose to respond publicly anyway.

I post frequently, because:

1. I'm often angered/disgusted by posts that seem destructive, bigoted or just plain stupid, and feel that I can make the world a little bit better place by challenging those ideas.

2. I see people making mistakes in their "facts" or reasoning and, since I always appreciate it when people take the time to correct my mistakes, I do the same for them. (Of course, this is not always received gracefully, LOL!)

3. Being a strong believer in the healing and life-enhancing power of humor, I like to contribute jokes if I think they're good enough.

4. I like to give others encouragement for taking good, moral, constructive stands (especially when they're taking flak for it), or just give them a little moral support if they're feeling down.

5. And yes, I'm honest enough to admit that I do like the sound of my own voice, especially when I've taken the time to think properly and polish my self-expression into something that's clear, concise and aesthetically pleasing. I even take the time to proofread and correct my stuff. (I'm available for proofreading/editing/writing work, folks, and I really need the $$).

6. And lest you think I'm too full of myself, I do get (in addition to some flak) quite a bit of appreciation from others for my writings, which of course reinforces the writing behavior.

I hope that info is helpful, nurturetruth.

Love;

Dixon
