and you are on a dark, quietly traveled road, say 116 in the pocket canyon, where there are alot of curves... OR in General...
Do you turn your brights off first, before the person coming at you, or do you wait for them to turn theirs' off, and then turn yours off?
Just wondering...:idunno:

good question. I turn mine off if I remember and if I don't, then I am reminded by the other one turning them off.
what made you think of this?
here's a parallel question that it made me think of:
if you are in a conflict with someone, do you more often reach out for resolution first or do you wait for the other to do so?

Is this a morals question Lorrie? LOL! I alwayz turn down my lights at first sight of an oncoming vehicle unless I am having problems with my vision. I wear glasses and once In a while I do have a problem seeing well at night. Then I wait till the last moment without trying to blind anyone.

Well, I didn't know I would have to answer questions before getting an answer to my question.....hmmm.
Anyway It was just a question, I just wanted to see what others think, what they normally do. I personally turn mine off before they turn theirs off. But that leaves me vunerable to them not turning theirs off. And it has happened alot, they wait till the last second to turn theirs off, if at all.
I suppose that would be my answer anyway huh.

hi there -
if you see the other person's lights from around a curve....turn your lights down first....if they do not, then flip yours back up and down again and hopefully the on coming vehicle will turn their lights down as well.....
