There is a wonderful strawberry stand on Highway 12 just west of Llano Road. The berries are ORGANIC and fantastic. They are picked RIPE, not like those hard unrippened things the supermarkets sell. Be ready to eat your way home after your purchase! The man who raises the strawberries picks the berries himself (unable to find someone who knows how to pick berries) so sometimes you have to wait for a half flat, but the wait is well worth it. A half flat sells for $10. Quite a bargain.
