Following is a link to the Northeast Specific Plan Water Supply Assessment (WSA) report on the Planning Department page of the City web site. Look for the PES Water Supply Assessment on the list of Northeast Plan documents. https://www.ci.sebastopol.ca.us/planning.shtml#northeast (https://www.ci.sebastopol.ca.us/planning.shtml#northeast) It’s a large file, so it may take some time to load. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

This report will be presented to the Sebastopol City Council at their July 17 meeting.

The Northeast Plan is intended to establish a pro-active policy plan that will transform the older industrial area of <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Sebastopol into a vibrant, mixed-use area that will strengthen the local economy, enhance pedestrian and vehicle connectivity, and reduce flood hazards in an environmentally responsible form of development.

The WSA finds there will be adequate water supply for projected Northeast development, as well as other development within the planning period. This analysis confirms prior City assessments regarding municipal water supply.

Preparation of the WSA delayed work on the draft Plan and its Environmental Impact Report. These documents are expected to be published in the next month.
