I suggest you google Husky Rescue. I am sure there are hundreds of dogs out there waiting for someone like you to provide a loving home. Why encourage breeders to add dogs to shelters when you can save a life through a legitimate rescue organization? Good luck in your search. I know there is a very special dog out there waiting for you.

Hi Rucira, have you contacted Husky Rescue? Go online and look for Husky breed rescue organizations. You may not get a puppy, but you'll be getting your breed of choice. And now, while I too am in favor of some kind of spay/neuter law I do not agree that spaying and neutering at such a very young age is a healthy or safe alternative for all puppies and I am sorry that the law adopts such an extreme position. Many breeds mature at a much later age. A six month old dog is equivalent to a 9 year old child. Think about it. This law does nothing to protect dogs from puppy mill breeders, either.

Hi Rucira, Gypsey again. My post got up before I got to finish it (must have pressed a wrong button here.) I wanted to inquire about your "willing to pay for shipping" comment. I strongly recommend you look only at local breeders and/or where you are able to go and get the dog personally. You want to meet the parents in person and see how the puppy is socialized and be sure you are not buying from a puppy mill. Good luck.

Yes...please get a dog from a rescue group or a shelter. They'll love you for it and you will get a great dog AND save a life.

We have a purebred Husky that is the brown kind with blue eyes. She is 3 years old and already spayed. She is too energetic to fit in our family and will give her free to the right home.
