Elves Corner is a charming Waldorf home preschool in Graton and is currently accepting applications for September 2007. Your little ones are warmly welcome.
Elves Corner is a place of delight and enchantment for children aged 2.9-5 years old to come together to play and grow. Our schedule is Monday through Friday, 9am-1pm, with the option of a 2-day, 3-day, 4-day or 5-day attendance.
Within a warm nurturing environment, children experience the benefits of creative playtime with toys crafted from natural materials that inspire their imaginations and allow them to engage in joyful activity. They are free to play alone or with others, and are guided in positive social interactions.
Each day time is set aside to greet one another with songs and movement, fostering reverence and acknowledging the mood of the season. Our weekly rhythm also includes organic snacks such activities as baking and cooking, , drawing painting, gardening, crafts and story telling. Every day there are seasonal organic snacks and time outside playing or taking a nature walk--rain or shine.
