In Ukiah, a dyslexic poet
Was frustrated, but tried not to show it.
"No matter what I do,
It all comes out haiku,
It has to do with my town, I just know it."

Hahahahahahahaaaaaaa!! Good one, timmytwang (even though you keep stuffing too many syllables into your lines)!!!

Coincidentally, I just mentioned to somebody from Ukiah the other day that Ukaih is haiku backwards.

And I suppose you know what Yreka Bakery is backwards :^)

Thanks for your silliness, Dixon. Here is one of my "properly official" haiku. Syllabic correctness, yes, but I understand that abstract thought is not to reveal itself through haiku, and yet it's the only way I think. So it is OK to seek out the abstract within my haiku, I won't tell....

Former thoughts of latter days,

P.S. I went round and round looking for the Yreka Bakery one day. Finally gave up and went to Weed. Ahhh, California!, where one can go from Weed to Needles.
