Anyone that has suggestions for lodging on the big island for a family of four on a budget (ha-ha). Want to be within a mile or two of beach--prefer to have a place to cook own meals. Pool a plus--doesn't have to be fancy. Thanks, Amy and Jeff

I know that Kathleen Carr in Sebastopol has a rental house on the big island so you may wnatto check with her.
