Sonoma State's Planning Workshop will be presenting a 20-year plan for Gravenstein Highway between Cotati and Sebastopol.
The theme of the plan is a "Green Legacy Farmway" protecting the natural and agricultural value of the area for current and future generations through environmental preservation and sustainable design...
Topics will include:
Green Building
Walkable, Bikable designs
Transportation
Eco-tourism
Eco-villages
Resource Conservation
Watershed protection
and more!
The presentation will be at Subud Hall 234 Hutchins Ave. in Sebastopol from 7-9:00 PM.
This has been a year-long student project that has created an abundance of progressive policies and tools that are ripe for the community to consider. (Including the beginning of an ecovillage overlay zone!)
