This beautiful old TWH was dropped off at an auction after he apparantly became not worth feeding for some time. He would like to have value for someone - maybe even if its just that horse on the other side of his feedlot pen. Please meet him: https://www.columbiabasinequinerescue...e.asp?HoID=655 (https://www.columbiabasinequinerescue.org/DEF-HorsesProfile.asp?HoID=655)

Do you have space with your horses to let an old guy live out his life? I will sponsor him. You feed and watch over him. Hopefully you are local so I can take an active role. But wherever works - he doesnt deserve to have the hideous slaughter experience after a lifetime of service.
But then, none of them do. He is in Washington State but rescue networks know how to arrange transport. I will post his bail if you come forward with a home. He's 25 - its not a forever committment.

Also check out the other great horses on the slaughter line there, if we are transporting one we might as well adopt several! These are nice looking horses.

<br /><br /> If someone has the space for a horse and would enjoy riding but has been advised not to do horseback riding because of back trouble, this is the horse for you. A Tennessee Walker has a gait different from any other breed's, such that the rider's lumbar spine and sacroiliac are never rotated--the horse has three hooves on the ground at all times.
