Yes, and no, and maybe.
There's a Taoist exercise (translated by Thomas Cleary as) "turning the light of understanding around," which I try to remember to practice when I catch myself judging someone. I think it means that when I see another's defects, the most useful thing I can do for my own spiritual growth is to ask myself the following question: Have I ever done that? (the answer is almost always "yes"). Gosh I have not even looked at my computer for a few days and low and behold there is still "The Phiant" issue. I was shocked really. Let's be DONE with this. So much negativity , which in my opinion over-rides just ones "opinion". And to THROW her to Mykil would be silly , or not , because he actually is the MOST gentlest of souls , even though he portraits a different image of himself.. Let us all take a Yoga breath and move forward !

I just moved down here from Seattle, and heard about the ruckus around this "unknown defiant person". it reminded me of a similar situation when I was in college. and some people, actually, a whole household got into it, they were joking and poking and stoking people. some thought it was hilarious, but most of it was pretty base dorm stuff. anyways they p>>>>d off the wrong person, who happened to be the webmaster for that site.
in the beginning everybody thought it was just one jerk. turns it was 5
but they way they found out was not that pretty, the webmaster started to hack in to their computers and then exposed all kinds of private stuff.
so how was ThePhiant unmasked? did they finally talk to him?
according to Barry's post the only or main reason ThePhiant was banned was
because he had more than 1 name. I just signed up, it didn't say it was wrong or illegal to have 2 identities.
did Barry tell you in private how they figured out they were all the same?
because the only way to find out is to talk to that person or hack into their computers.
otherwise, this thread is pretty benign

he watches over us 24 hours a day.

Whether something is perceived as a lie or untruth by another...is beyond the point and also the perceiver's probelm.
All that REALLY matters is our own individual perception of or about ourselves.
To imply or focus in on another as being untruthful , "filled with untruths", a liar or lying....
Is simpy maybe just another way of distracting ourselves from choosing NOT to see where we ourselves may have been untrue or un-clear with either our own selves or another. ???

I can only say, that with all the mixed feelings I have felt about this issue, I am thrilled that, you, Barry are a very open minded individual ( actually that is what all Wacco probably was based on) and I respect your openness to let "The Phiant" back into circulation. I was introduced to her not physically but mentally by a friend whom is in acquaintance with her and his statement to me was that she is one of the most intellectual women he has ever met. Well I bow my head to her and everyone else that is bold and brave..
Now to change the subject I need some help ! I am (don't tell anyone) a Super Hero.. I'm having a very hard time coming up with a name.. I am a fiery person and run a darn good chainsaw. Anybody have an idea for my "Super Hero " name . If your idea is my picked , I will be providing a very worthwhile prize ! Seriously :heart: :heart: :heart: :heart:

At this point, ironically enough, you need to be a supporting member to get the “Free member” user title (right out of Catch-22!). Supporting members may change their user titles to (most) anything they like! Click on the User Control Panel for the Supporting Membership options. Supporting Members may change their user title on the Edit Profile (https://www.waccobb.net/forums/profile.php?do=editprofile) page of the User Control Panel.<o:p></o:p>
