Suggestion for Wacco

Hi, I am wondering if there is a way that I can email some items to myself from this wacco site. Whenever I read through the long list of events and details here, I have a hard time remembering the things I want to do after I leave this site.
It would be nice for me to send an email to myself of the one or two things that I want to follow up on so that I can import them to my calendar.

Yes, you can email items to yourself. When viewing a thread on the website you can click on the https://www.waccobb.net/forums/waccobb/orangebuttons/sendtofriend.gif icon above the first post and then email a link to the thread to yourself, and you can include any notes to yourself. When you click on the link you will be able to see any subsequent replies on that thread as well.

You may also want to check out https://del.icio.us/ which is a free service that can track your bookmarks.

Hi Barry, I have been wondering the same thing. Some emails such as events I want to look a later and decide if I am going to put them on in my I Cal.

I did try what you suggested but I only got a link back to the website. Is there a way to copy the actual body of the post so I have it in my email program?

Thanks NadiseOK, I've added your request for an "email this to me" feature to the queue.

For the mean time you can copy a post (just highlight it an copy) and then paste the text into the "Email this Page" message box.

BTW, if you find an event in the calendar on WaccoBB.net, there is an option there to request an email reminder for that event.

So if you reading the post in the digest, first click on the https://www.waccobb.net/forums/waccobb/orangebuttons/Website-Reply.jpg button in the digest at the bottom of the post you are interested in. Can't find "email this to me" on a post on the website. It's not there yet! I meant that I have added it to my list of features to implement. See the rest of this thread for ways of doing this.

Here's a simpler way:

Highlight and copy the text in the digest that you want a copy of.
Goto your email program and start a new email addressed to yourself
Paste in your copied text.
Send.
