The contest will be part of the "offbeat cafe" performance with Julfire.

what is the "offbeat cafe'" you ask?

its a neo-beatnik spoken word surreal anti-consumer stream of conciousness jazz performance!

Gee, how do I know if I'm cool enough to attend?

If I have to ask, does that mean I'm not cool? :hmmm:

Actually, it sounds like fun--I just couldn't resist asking! :lol2:

Hi Julia,

I see you have a date for Bad Poetry and the "offbeat cafe." I will plan on attending.
I've appreciated the guidance and facilitating you've been giving the S&S over the past week.
I am preparing this week for the WidowSpeak salon on Sunday. I'm not sure I will be able to attend the SS cafeŽafter my salon, as I may be depleted, but I will try.
Let's get together next week to brainstorm about the Salon article. A walk please.
My deadline for the Salon article in Sonoma West is the 1st of the May so this end of March event will fit nicely. As well as April's S&S.
I have a poem I'd like to submit to the Bad Poetry contest called,
"First Liners."
Can I perform that night?
Will you be at Sweat Your Prayers this Friday?
Have you found a new space for your workshops?
Are you well?

Cheers,
AMG
