Yo Barry oh great and munificent moderator,
I've tried twice to attach a .pdf leaflet copy to my David Rovics announcement. I was able to attach files before, now nuttin' happens when I click the button. When I right click the only option I get is "undo". I have virus and pop-up filters and blockers up the kazoo, but even when I stop blocking pop-ups, no go.
I'm using Internet Explorer 7.
A related issue is that since the big changeover, when I click on the "More" button for smilies, nothing happens. I can get around this by opening the Post New Topic screen in a new window, then the smilie file/page opens for me.
This occured a few months ago when I upgraded by protections, but then stopped and I could open the smilies from my first screen. Now I'm back to this end-run technique.
(Ever notice how many sports metaphors are in our language? And in tech talk? pop-ups, blocking, end run. And I'm not into sports! There's no escape.)
