The local support group, that has helped so many people on so may levels, maybe breaking up. We need some volunteers to keep up going. We meet the first Saturday of every month at Palm Dr. Hospital. We usually have a speaker. March's speaker will be Dr Smith. I have copied and pasted the postitions we currently need help with....
Call for Volunteers
We need your help to keep the Carousel Network going strong. Historically, our volunteers have been people with CNDS, but we love assistance from friends and family members, too. </td><td width="65%">The primary contact person for TCN handles the bulk of the incoming phone calls from people who are sick and seeking information, and health professionals looking for support groups for their patients. Contacts are made by phone, email, and regular mail. The primary contact person should be well enough versed in the various diseases affecting members to help callers looking for referrals to other information and health resources, and to provide basic support.

I think we might get about 2-3 calls a week.
We have some regular speakers mixed in with people that call and want to speak to our group. We have speakers booked until June right now.
If anyone has any suggestions please post. The Press Democrat and the Volunteer center does not want to help us with this.
