I bought this Argus Quick Clix 5150 digital camera @ Sears. It was an after Thanksgiving sale, A.K. A. "blue light" special. Now I know the true meaning of special.

I loaded the software, but it does nothing. It says; "Twain not connected, power to camera not on, etc.".

I also tried to locate the Argus website regarding drivers and such. It was a nightmare on an Occidental Street! huh! I did notice that many who have bought this "5150"
(name fits) all have come to the conclusion .... its poop!

Thank you,

Ciao, ciao
Colleen

Is there anything on the box that indicates what Operating System the software is compatable with? Windows 95, Windows XP etc?

If the camera is actually taking photos, and storing them on some type of removable media?

If so then, you don't really need the camera's software to see the photos. You can use a media card reader, which is attached via a USB port to your computer, to view the images in your computer. More often than not, software from the manufacturer is chock full of useless programs and out of date software anyway.

Email me and I might be able to help you out.
