Dear Sonoma County,
It has been a very hard year for HIV Care and Prevention providers. Unprecedented cuts in Federal, State, and Local funding are already in place and there are more pending. It is a very insecure time for employees and clients alike.
Consequently, we are taking a more grassroots approach, hoping to offset these cuts. One opportunity to do so is the Human Race. This is a sponsorship event in which you sponsor me an amount and I run (or in my case walk fast) in a race. The winners are the agencies who raise money.
The Human Race organizers have set up a website for me to make it easy for you to contribute. So please take the time to see my website (pasted below) and do whatever you can to help an agency that, aside from employing me, does important work in the community.
Face to Face is the only organization of its kind in Sonoma County. I hope you can help,
