We have a skunk that lives under or around our house. Last night it came inside our bedroom through a door we left cracked open for our cat. We consider ourselves very lucky that it didn't spray. Any ideas how to get the skunk to relocate??

I think you are going to get stinky no matter what. Sorry to say....but I would trap that fragrant feline with a trap from the Humane Society. Use prescribed bait and I think that canned cat food would work well. Move it out elsewhere. And this will be a messy thing to do. Use a truck.
Now if you cannot manage this operation, you could try to get someone else to do it. Expensive, I would think. Perhaps when you do the following two things, the skunk will move away. You know he is there particularly for the cat food if you leave it out. So clean up. Do not leave cat food outside anytime.
Then check under your house for other critters and dead bodies. Gruesome idea, isn't it? Then seal the crawl space of the house.
Then get a cat door with a magnetic-collar-key for your cat so your bedroom is not exposed to the wild...that is if you are ready to divest yourself of the musky natural critters, and be the exclusive guardians of your own house space!

When you don't like what comes in your open door.....CLOSE THE DOOR!
