Hi Friends,
A beautiful Calico short haired male cat came looking for shelter this week during the freeze. He was apparently dropped off somewhere along Stony Point and wandered into my back field. I couldn't resist helping to save him, so I put an insulated box out on my back porch and offered some food. He is not a Farell cat, since he is well socialized, affectionate and friendly. He is lonesome and desires company. I'd love to keep him, but my (adult female) cat has not welcomed him as I have.
Hoping to find him a good new home. He said his name is "Charlie." He has beautiful golden eyes and is probably an adolescent.
PLEASE PASS ALONG TO OTHERS.
Thanks,
Trish

Charlie is probably a she, male calicos are very rare.
3 color cats (calico or tortioseshell) are almost always female.

Is Charlie neutered? Has s/he shown any interest in catching gophers and mice? Is s/he one of these rare calico males after all?

I would love to give Charlie a place to live on our 127 acre ranch on Porter Creek Road.....Can you bring him by, or would you like me to come fetch him.
Thank you,
Barbara Soleil

Trish I hope you make a real effort to find his owner first. someone may be desperately missing him. If he is so friendly and affectionate, he probably has a home.
Thanks,
Marty
