Timothy is the homeless man who used to sit near Whole Foods/Box Office Video in Sebastopol. He obtained a business license(!) so he could wash car windows but the woman who owns Hairmasters has a restraining order so he can no longer work in the parking lot or sit in his "spot". He's been sitting by the Sebastopol Cookie Co. if you want to talk with him.

Timothy has lost his income and needs a place to sleep out of the rain and keep warm on these cold nights. A few of us have come together to try to find him shelter and request donations be made to him for food, etc.

A trailor, shed, unused van, etc would be great. There's also the possibility of building a simple structure if someone has room for it on their land.

Tiomthy is a great person in need of community support. If you're interested in helping in any way with funds, attending a meeting, housing or suggestions please talk with Timothy or email me.

I know that we can make a huge difference in Timothy's life!

Thanks so much,
Helene

What only 35 people so far have read this, this subject should be getting much more attention! The "views" column can be quite misleading. It counts how many people clicked on this thread online. It does not include people who either read this in their Daily Digest or in the tooltip preview when you put your mouse over a thread title in the category listing on the website.

We found a trailor for Timothy and now need a place to put it - the closer to Sebastopol the better since Timothy calls Sebastopol his home. If you have any possibility of providing a space for a 22 foot trailor Timothy would be happy to do some work in return. He's very anxious to get off the street and grateful for any assistance that will get him a home in this very cold weather.

Please call me if you have any interest and we can talk about it.

Thanks so much!!!

Well, Big Bob donated a really decent trailor for Timothys's home. Timothy is a wonderful soul who's been homeless for the last two years. Through a series of unfortunate events his world fell apart when he could no longer hang with his friends near Whole Foods washing car windows, having meals from Slice of Life and bein' a part of the happenings near Whole Foods.

So, we've got a trailor for him and now we're looking for a place to put it. If you have a spot to offer or have any suggestions please get in touch with me. Temporary is fine. Permanent is great. Suggestions welcome.

This is a good human being - he so deserves support from all of us who are so fortunate and blessed. Can you help?

Thanks so much,
Helene

I took Timothy over to the newspaper to get interviewed this past Thursday. There may even be a photo op in it. So I'm hoping the newspaper feature will generate some interest. Won't take much. Just one good person willing to offer some space.
