Hi Everyone ,Happy New Year & Happy Expanded Social Circle.
I am starting a group for those interested in finding activity partners & groups specifically to attend cultural events, such as Plays, Comedy, Music, Dance, Poetry,Performance Art,Etc mainly in Marin on the weekends.
Sometimes it's difficult to find those among our friends who are interested or even available to accompany us to these types of events. So I'm starting this club to develope a network of friends who are specifically into cultural events, so we can pair up or go in groups to these events together. We will try to find fun low cost to free cultural events whenever possible. I know quite a few already.
We have about 15 interested people so far & growing. We are mostly single Babyboomers over 40.We will do most of the events in Marin. WE are meeting today Sun 1/7 between 5:30-8pm at Aroma Cafe in San Rafael next to the Rafael Theater , to discuss the structuring of this group ,best meeting times,best places to post , & best site to set up group networking, meet eachother to share interests & set up our own events etc.
