FORESTVILLE CITIZENS' ACTION ALERT
Dear friends and neighbors:
A Timber Harvest Plan has just been filed by Blue Rock (see attachment). This will affect Green Valley Creek in a negative way. A Forest Protection Committee is being formed, and your help is needed now.
The THP process involves multiple state agencies. This may be a last opportunity for us to effect change when it comes to air pollution, truck traffic and protection of Green Valley Creek.
There is only a short period of time in which to address this THP through the Department of Forestry's process. If you are interested in helping challenge the THP, there will be an informative meeting on Sunday evening, December 17, at 7:00 p.m. at the Thomas Creek Ranch Community Center, located at the very end of Giovannetti Road, which is directly across the street from Canyon Rock on Highway 116. Look for the orange cones.
Please forward this email to all your friends and neighbors. Thank you very much.
