I am SOOO glad to tell you that my JAZZ, a very sweet but energetic border collie mix has been adopted by the very same woman who first rescued her from near death about a year or so ago.

My Jazz was found to be very dehydrated and exhausted when rescued back then but has since bounced back and is a happy and to her rescuer, A FAT dog. She is NOT OVERWEIGHT though, just healthy.

It is so nice to know I thought others might enjoy a happy ending.

I don't know exactly how it came about but believe the party who found my former foster dog, JAZZ, a nice border collie mix, was married to a fellow at the time who would not consent to ADOPT JAZZ for his own reasons. She has since divorced him and soooo when she learned JAZZ had not been adopted, she applied and is now happy to report all is well with both dog and rescuer.

I failed to get KATE's email address but have her phone number and will contact her over weekend to get the email address. I will ask her to put in writing their story so I can reproduce it here.

I am so happy for JAZZ but I do so miss her. I am anxious to find another medium size older dog to foster very soon.

Hi Helen

I am sorry you miss her, but am sure you can easily find another to foster! Try going to https://www.aleguprescue.org
They almost ALWAYS need good fosters. Look at all the available dogs links, because they are not all small dogs!

Thanks for the details on Jazz. I LOVE those stories!
