Does someone out there know if this skullkap has the same medicinal properties as common skullkap? I have looked in all my books to find sculltelaria sufratescans (Pink Texas Skullkap) and can't find it! Many thanks if you can share anything about this variety :sunshine:

Pink texas skullcap is not commonly used medicinally. Of the 6 western and 2 chinese varieties I have studied, they all share a common trait of blue to purple flowers. The pink texas skullcap has pink flowers and is a common border shrub that is drought resistant. A hearty garden border that prefers dry slightly higher elevations. I think gazing at the beautiful pink flowers is it's most medicinal feature. The california school of herbal studies in forestville may have some more info. Keep digging.
