If you use Firefox 1.5 or 2.0 you REALLY want this extension that displays long tooltips. Once this FREE & EASY extension is installed, you'll be able to see the first SEVERAL LINES of the first post in a thread directly from the category listing on the WaccoBB.net website!:banana:

To install it:

- Go to https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/1715/
- Click "Install Now"

That's it! It will prompt you to restart Firefox (not your computer).

Keep in mind that the tooltip will display only the first few lines of a the first post in a thread, without any formatting or images. So if the post seems interesting, you will still want to click on the thread and get the full picture.

Also note that this means the "views" column on WaccoBB.net (which tracks how many times a post was clicked on the website), which was already highly misleading (because it doesn't take the digest into account), is now even more misleading!

But all in all, this is a major enhancement for Firefox users!

Indeed it was easy to install, and indeed performed as said on wacco site however nothing else will work and I want to figure out how to undo it. Restarting did not help the situation. It says it is transferring data and then says done and the page remains blank.....

It says it is transferring data and then says done and the page remains blank.....Mindy wrote to me privately and said that the Yahoo game "Literati" did not work. I tested that out in fact there was problem. Note that Literati is not your standard website but rather an interactive multi player game (scrabble).

To uninstall this extension:
- select "Add-ons" from the Firefox Tools menu.
- Click on the Long Titles selection
- click Disable or Uninstall
- Restart Firefox


So size does make a difference?
I still think this is a worthwhile extension if you don't play internet games. Please give it a try and post your experience here!
