Perhaps I can help you, if you can help me. I need a damaged photo for a photoshop restoration and repair project. I took in the worst pictures I had and my instructor said they were not bad enough.
Here are the requirements:
The image should be:
damaged- cracked, folded and/or torn even with missing sections is ok
faded and/or discolored--i.e. appearing to have a red or yellow color cast
Over or underexposed
Mold damage and/or water spots
Scratches and other blemishes
scribbles in blue ink are fixable.
The picture must be in focus--that cannot be fixed.
This is the Photo that you you think is hopeless but you love it so much you can't seem to throw it away.
You can email a scanned copy of the image to me, but if I can use it, I will need the original to show to my instructor for approval before I scan it and then I will return the original to you along with a print and/or digital image of the repaired image.
The attached photo is an example that though it needs a lot of repair, it is not bad enough since it does not meet all the criteria. (i.e. the color and exposure is too good)
