The Goddess Within
The Goddess within is hiding
Lost in the Sea of Doubt
Guarded by Poseidon
Until she knows herself
I catch a glimpse now and then,
she doesn't know I see,
when she rises to the surface
looking for me
Her hair is free and flowing
Her eyes afire and glowing
Her voice rings out my name
to end this lonely game
I've sailed these troubled waters
seeking her outstretched hand
fingers touching...slipping,
elusive like glittering sand
I dream of the joyful moment
we meet eye to eye
and know with heart and soul
we are one, her and I
Our hair is free and flowing
Our eyes afire and glowing
Our voice rings out our name
to end this lonely game
