Hello friends! I want to thank everyone who took the time to answer my brief survey, which I'm conducting for a research project in my sociology of gender class at SSU. :): I've gotten lots of great responses, but not a single one from a gay man, and only a couple from heterosexual men. :hmmm: This is a real problem because the study I'm doing is designed to look at how biological sex and/or sexual orientation affect (or do not affect) how person views (stereotypes) gender roles. As of right now, the study is completely unbalanced, and I'm running really short on time.
I'm sorry but the study is ill-concieved and seeks(accidently I'm sure) to re-inforce and perpetualise old world sexual stereotypes thus turning off the gazillions of us out there who dont want to feed that hype
Are they any gay men out there willing to take a moment to answer this survey? I'd be eternally grateful. And if you're a het. man, I could use some feedback from you too.no

and oh yes-I promise to post the results of my research!Tina; I think I see what the problem is here, I am no expert, just guessing but your survey for one thing, attempts to assume that "Gayness", well exists as a "Scientific" measurable phenomena for one thing, and secondly that it is "BIOLOGICAL" or logical at all for that matter. or really, if you want to look at how thinking is moving on this topic these days, if we even NEED these stupid Labels that people and the church and bigots have been using as excuses to keep people apart and DIFFERENT than each other.

Let's take me for example(WHOA, RIGHT OUT HERE IN FRONT OF EVERYBODY) "no way "says my conditioned self, yeah well F$%* it, here goes:

I have made love with men, but I don't identify as any Label, I make love with myself (GOOD LORD) does that make me gay?from a "scientific" standpoint, I'm MALE, that's Me there on the controls making that choice.
If so, there are an awful lot of "GAY" guys walkin' around out there.
Sorry dear but your whole thing is based on an antiquated system that
people are tired of having crammed down their throats!
