I hired a lovely (but turned out to be troubled) young man to build a computer for my son's high school graduation. It took him two months instead of one week and then we had to take it unfinished. He has serious problems with completion, and is sorry but non functional, and consequently broke.

I paid $1000 and was promised all the software imaginable to come with it. But now it has none. I can't afford to buy the programs.

My son's top needs are for Adobe Photoshop and Premiere and hopefully a few choice video games. We assume it comes with Office but need help finding out. Any other offered programs that would help a bright young college student studying computer science would be appreciated.

He's not a big video game player, mostly into strategy and role playing type things, but was reallylooking forward to a few.

We also were promised keyboard and mouse, but those didnt come either. I tried to hook it up to my keyboard and mouse but they wouldnt work (do drivers have to be installed for those?)

So we assume it has Office but not sure about that either. Could use help also to get it going and check its specs. It does seem to have its operating system. Probably phone help would be enough.

Thanks so much. My son is 18 and at Brown and has been patiently dealing with the endless frustration of not even having this computer. We were planning to take it with us when we drove him across country to school, and now we'll have to ship it at another $100 or so.
