Lest we not repeat the sins of the past ...<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

Remember Sam Crump, our Sebastopol Mayor of a decade ago? At one point, he had the highest number of votes of any City Council candidate in <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Sebastopol. Not sure if that record still holds. He aligned himself with self-described liberal/moderate Democrats such as Kathy Austin and Ken Foley who were all too eager to join with him to defeat the progressives.

Of course, when he was here, he didn't talk much about his anti-choice, anti-gay, anti-immigrant, anti-public school views, though, to his credit, he was very much upfront about being against taxes and so-called “big government.”

He is running for one of the two Arizona State Legislative seats open in his district. Check out his website https://www.samcrump.com/ (https://www.samcrump.com/) and maybe you will appreciate our current City Council a little more.
