We are a loving non-binary trans couple looking for housing in Sonoma County. Seed (they/them) is an outdoor educator, garden educator, and youth mentor. Seed has lived and worked in Sonoma County for the past 5 summers working at Coyote Camp at Ocean Song and also with Land Paths (https://www.landpaths.org/). Samwise (they/them) is a community herbalist, teacher, and organizer. Samwise lived in Sonoma County for 9 months last year while studying at the California School of Herbal Studies (https://cshs.com/) and was also up there this summer working on their community herbalism project Self Heal Herbs (https://www.selfhealherbs.com/). We both love plants, art, music, and community. Our three-year-old cat Artemis loves being an indoor/outdoor country cat.
We’re looking for a cottage/cabin/house/yurt on land to call home. The unit would need to have a private, indoor kitchen and bathroom (with a bathtub), strong wifi and cell service, and a washer/dryer on site. Ideally, it is stand-alone and there are gardens (or space for us to plant gardens) and trees nearby. Our ideal setting would also have a pond, hot tub, and woodshop/workspace :-)
We’ve lived in a variety of community settings including intentional communities, co-ops, and shared-land collectives. We enjoy community vibes and also appreciate ample alone time. We have excellent credit, references, communication skills, and cleanliness. It would be incredible to share space with other queer & trans folks.
