fires primarily originating in Napa County are destroying Sonoma County (1964, 2017, 2020).

Both fires should have been stopped in Napa.

We all know that Napa loves to hate Sonoma County in the wine & food biz, saying it's not as good as them.
Investigators need to look into this.

You post almost suggests Cal Fire which is in charge takes less an effort in stopping fires that head in our direction? Not to squabble but that is just a ludicrous notion. There is a lot of steep and rough terrain between Sonoma and Napa County. It's hard to stop a fire in that kind of terrain most especially at night with the wind blowing hard east to west.

Much of California has a fire cycle. Sir Francis Drake reported huge fires when he sailed the CA coast in the 1500s. Our flora and fauna are adapted to flourish after fire. Ca has burned and regrown over and over since the last ice age. Regardless of what the simpleton in the White House says it is almost impossible to deny that cycle from occurring. We do are best to stop wild land fires but sometimes it's just not doable. It has nothing to do with Napans V Sonomans.
