hellohello, That sounds so hyperbolic!.. ...You have made innuendos based on either partial information or outright conjecture. The implications you have made here are convoluted, IMHO.

The CA Governor was/is/has asked for help from TRAINED AND ABLE FIREFIGHTERS from those other countries, not the average Joe.
hellohello, why aren't you fighting one of the fires instead of blogging here?:hmmm:... ...Let me guess... ...You are either not physically fit, too old, to fight a wildfire or know you would get told to leave the scene or you would get arrested for obstructing the real firefighters and law enforcement.

You could try to volunteer at an appropriate location to avoid getting in the way though. There are volunteer fire departments. Are you a volunteer fire fighter?

As was said in another thread as a response to another of your posts (https://www.waccobb.net/forums/showthread.php?134437-gee-maybe-150-000-homeless-californian-s-could-help-fight-fires&p=237252#post237252):
Fire fighting is a skilled trade requiring a tremendously high degree of fitness (https://www.waccobb.net/forums/showthread.php?134437-gee-maybe-150-000-homeless-californian-s-could-help-fight-fires&p=237290#post237290)

:wink2:For those who are interested in becoming a CAL-FIRE fire fighter and be on a fire crew and fight fires, here is where to start:

·there's a strong strain of disrespect for expertise, skill, knowledge, and experience that runs through our culture. You see if from all sides. Some people do it out of ignorance, not realizing how little they know and therefore completely underestimating what competence actually means. Others do it out of some kind of sense that only iconoclasts can be trusted. I suspect it comes from the same biology, though - smart people are better at turning feelings into rationalizations, others don't bother with that extra step.
