Hi; If you are the person who helps me find a storage or studio space (like one of sonoma counties like 1000 abandoned buildings and schools) I will give you 1/2 of etsy value on HUGE antique and vintage toy collection
here I go again expecting the improbable, unlikely and unthinkable sensible solution to an age ol' problem
what do we do with all this ol' junk so <if> we don't throw it ""AWAY"" This is a remarkable collection of imagery from 1960 till present day .?
if someone can take me to Away,and show me around there I might change my "tack" or attitude
on this topic ,all my life I have been finding uses for the useless.
currently we have a studio and two unsustainable storage situations
all the beads buttons jewels and cute junk are in one place
all the vintage toys dating back to 1955 are in another ,the Pottery is currently in a evacuation zone and may soon reduce itself to blackened tile .. the valu-less items like balls toy guns,wheels,bottlecaps etc etc etc are in 20' in windsor. The palace supplies are at home-ish or in Mendocino at a friends hip camp ,where we plan to do COB in the fall making clay tiny homes with palatial inspiration
We like to make beauty out of bits and pieces
hoping to find a SCHOOL that dreams of opening with a full art curriculum our projects prefer outdoor class rooms, and require indoor winter storage ,must be vermin proof .
does ANY-body want to play help set up etsy store to sell finished work and supplies .
Sonoma county has this opportunity NOW , a lot of this is a donation of free materials ,know how and environmental passion , soon to move ON to say Hawaii? Tahiti? hmmm or a home-builder island like Richart Sosa's
