Question for Barry:

Some sites (e.g. Reddit) have a feature that allows a user to block posts by another user.

Is that a feature you could implement if the WACCO community wanted it? It would be a fine-grained way to eliminate unwanted posts without having to unsubscribe from an entire category.

Thanks

Kevin

yes. See how here. (https://www.waccobb.net/forums/showthread.php?19804-How-can-I-ignore-posts-from-a-user-How-can-I-be-notified-when-a-certain-user-posts&p=27330#post27330)

You can also unsubscribe from a thread while staying subscribed to the category.

So who would get to decide which posts are "unwanted?" Slippery slope, Kevin. Or do you mean a user could block posts just on his own email?

yes, this is about the ability for a user to block a certain user from showing up in their email.
