I'm writing to invite folks to research Marshall Rosenberg's method of communication, Non-Violent Compassionate Communication (aka NVC). (https://www.cnvc.org/)

NVC might prevent many conflicts that I see emerge on Wacco, and help folks understand each other better.

There are many classes etc. for free on-line to learn & practice NVC (https://www.cnvc.org/).

I also recall seeing NVC groups on Wacco, that were free to participate in.

Basically, it involves communicating in a way that will not evoke a defensive response from the other person, ie., each person truly striving to understand the other.

Ohhhhh thank you Gaiasophia! I signed up!! Been wanting to take NVC for a long time...what a timely moment to take it, no doubt will enhance what I already know...will use in my anti-racism work and my work as a psychotherapist. Especially thrilled to see Oren Sofer's class based in the Buddhist texts. I am so IN!!!
