On April 24, KRCB subscribers were asked to rescan our TVs because the station's signal moved from UHF to a VHF frequency.

We did the lengthy rescan--twice--and now cannot get the station at all. The message we get is "Weak Signal." KRCB does not seem to have a solution other than accessing the station through users' computers, which is not acceptable to us. We spend too much time on our computers already without having one in our kitchen.

Anyone else having this issue? We have a rooftop antenna mounted on our second-story chimney, but apparently it can't reach Sutro Tower in San Francisco.

We had the same problem. Used to be that KRCB was a strong signal even when the SF channels weren't available. Our solution was to download the KRCB app from the google playstore (I have an Android phone), select "stream" to play the current broadcast and then cast that to our TV using a google chromecast (which we already had. If you don't have one, I think they're around $35, and you'll need to have WiFi and a reasonable internet speed - we typically get around 10Mbps on our Sonic ADSL) and an empty HDMI socket on your TV. I only set it up today, so not yet 100% sure that it'll work consistently. Happy to answer any questions.
