Just yesterday it was disclosed that the Department of the Interior has disestablished the Wapanoag tribe. (https://www.wbur.org/news/2020/03/28/mashpee-wampanoag-reservation-secretary-interior-land-trust) The U.S. government signed a treaty giving them a reservation for "as long as rivers shall flow." A year or so ago the Wampanoag successfully defended themselves against an attempt by a casino company to build a hotel and gambling complex on Wampanoag land. Trump was incensed and apparently he found a way to get retribution on the Wampanoag.

European invaders have been abusing indigenous people since Columbus landed on Hispaniola. The contaminant of Greed was loosed when the Europeans landed here. There was no established social or political system to contain them and they had no desire to contain themselves. The European settlers were the first hoarders. They hoarded land. They hoarded resources. Four hundred years later they've graduated to hoarding money which has created the extreme wealth inequality in America. The same animus that drives the toilet paper hoarders drives the hedge fund managers. Trump and McConnell hoard power. Look around. The shelves are bare. There is no toilet paper. There is no money left, and We The People have no power.

Thinking more about hoarding I realize that the wealthy hoard health and health care. The wealthy tend to outlive the poor and part of the reason is the wealthy hoard health care. Think of them like the toilet paper hoarders only applied to health care. The toilet paper hoarders emptied the stores. They bought up every single roll so there was none left for others. Health care is the same. The hoarders have to make certain that the poor have no health care because if they did, then the health care hoarders would be failing. Here's another image. There's a disorder called Prater-Willi Syndrome where there's a chromosomal defect that causes the person to eat and eat and eat.. They cannot stop. They have to be supervised or they'll literally eat themselves to death. The super wealthy have a variant of Prater-Willi only it's not food, it's money. They cannot stop themselves from consuming money.

They also cannot stop themselves from consuming the physical, mental and emotional "health" of the poor and disenfranchised.
