Well, I'm going to take this with a boulder sized grain of salt...
After looking into this a bit... at the time this lab was doing the tests the only tesy in the US seems to have been the one with the bad reagents... which would call into question the results.
And it's worth noting... the tests were run on samples given voluntarily by people participating in a study on the flu- without their knowledge or consent. Regardless of the intent- that is a VERY slippery slope...
