Care to provide some links? Because pretty much all polls show either winning... but in most polls Bidens % is higher. And, this is kind of a moot point right at this point in time- I'm unaware of any major polls that have really happened since the Super Tuesday results... which *should* see Biden getting a major bump.

But I'll say the polling so far shows two major obstacles to Sanders winning. Support among African-americans - which no democrat in modern years has won without. And support along suburban women.

And, I'll throw in a 3rd - the substantial portion of Sanders supporters that are younger Americans- which (like virtually every category *have* turned out in higher numbers this election) ... but not for Sanders.

I just want to add to this that in 2016 poll after poll showed Bernie had a better chance of defeating Trump than Clinton. Even so, I know a number of people who either did not vote or who voted for Clinton because she was more mainstream than Bernie and therefore more acceptable to the South and the heartland. We all saw how that turned out.
For those of you who did this in 2016, PLEASE don't make the same mistake again.

Really? because both memory and looking back at the polls saw both had a pretty equal chance of beating Trump before Clinton won the nomination.

And... let's be real- even the Republicans poling didn't't see Trump as a real threat until into the primaries...

And, let's look at 2016. Clinton actually won the popular vote against Trump
12% of Sanders votes (ok- the #'s range from ~10.5-14% depending on source) VOTED FOR TRUMP
~8% sanders voters did not support Clinton

If you want to debate voters making the same mistake again...well...maybe a mirror...

Yes- that was from early March- before the primaries began in earnest. Later polls told a much different story

And, as we've seen, for 2 election seasons now... Sanders polls well. And his voters don't materialize...

And, I want to add- the link WW posted appeared to be from March 6th 2016. If memory serves... we had 3? big primariy days- on both sides, the first week to 10 days of March in 2016. Regardless- given that polls tend to be ~ a week old- these were presumably from before the primaries...

If you remember... no one- not even the Republicans considered Trump a real threat in the early days. And the polls posted were from before anyone thought Trump was a real candidate.

So, I'd say my big takeaway from the link was how poorly both Sanders and Clinton led over a non-candidate...

And...for the record...go back 4 years and check my posts...when everyone here was smug that Hillary was going to win.... I predicted Trumps victory...
