While I'm not a Biden fan really, after Trumps attacks (again) today I felt I had to post this. Because I don't think most people realize Biden has had a lifelong struggle with a speech impediment. A stutter. And no... this is not the stustustutttttter most people think of from film and books.
One of my best friends has struggled with this since childhood. One of the smartest people I know (1600 SAT - not sure what that means today but then it was a perfect score. Full ride to Harvard, worked for IBM in the early days( . Anyway... like Biden, he dealt with a stutter. Not vocally obvious. But it tripped up his ability to express his thoughts.
Anyway, it always infuriated me that such a brilliant mind would be dismissed because of this problem.
Now..I'm not saying Biden is such a brilliant mind. But I am saying...do your own research into the problem Biden has long lived with before you judge. And maybe, you'll think twice before judging the many Americans who also struggle with this.
