Sierra lakeside cabins?

Any suggestions for rental cabins in the Sierras?

Prefer low-key, old-time traditional places, not on reservoirs or big lakes that host jet skis and powerboats.
Not looking for high-end resorts or condominium time-shares.

Nearby stream fishing would be nice, as would kitchen facilities and nearby small restaurant or store.

West side or East side of the Sierra, North or South Sierra, Trinity mountains.

Take a look at Sorensen's Hope Valley Resort near Kirkwood. They have cabins with wood stoves and kitchens, a common area with a restaurant, a sauna, streams, skiing, etc. Beautiful place.

Sorenson's start at $205 a night and go up from there (this is during the week). I needed to call them to get this as their website didn't reveal the pricing.
