Thanks Thad. Although my response is not directly related to the posted topic, I appreciate knowing about this very informative newsletter. "The Conversation....."

A very interesting look at "propaganda" or in other words the history of "public relations" and how easily we are manipulated by all of it's aspects. How are you being manipulated by the likes of Amazon Prime, and Costco with "easy" returns? Do you return more than 50% of your online and catalog purchases? Some return almost 90%. Some don't return things, but just add them to the boxes and bags that are reducing their actual living space. Or even worse, paying to store them. What lies beneath this all too common habitual behavior? When will we become aware of how easily we are being led into financial disaster, with the promise of easy monthly payments or easy returns?. Have you ever made an "easy" monthly payment on your credit card? Time to wake up from sleep walking with "eyes wide open". Are we a big part of the problem?
