I need to have an area rug cleaned.

It's actually a piece of carpet that fits snugly inside a 12 by 12 bed room. The tenant moved out leaving it quite dirty. I want to take it somewhere to be cleaned. Master Carpets said it would cost $500! I explained it isn't an Oriental Rug, but that's their price. Any ideas?

Barrie, Have you researched other carpet cleaners? The most it should cost would be $150, maybe less.
