Looking for a public EV Charge station in Sebastopol, Rohnert Park or Cotati which has power.
Also, what is Electric status in Sebastopol?

As to Sebastopol- there is no power in the city proper. They had shut off power Sat night even to sections of the downtown core they had said they wouldn't. And for whatever reason...didn't get power back on yesterday for the half day many expected they would.
Maybe power late tomorrow? or maybe Friday....

As to charging stations... no idea. And...it would help to know for which vehicle- since chargers are not universal. Much of Santa Rosa- except for the northern parts, have power.... so I would see that as the best bet. I also believe the public library in Rohnert Park or Cotati? had power...so I assume there are some swaths there.

I know there are a number of apps for finding charging stations...whether they are updated in situations like these I do not know... but comparing them to PG&E's outage maps would be a start... Unfortunately- unlike gas stations.... there's usually no one to call to see if they are "open".

edit to add- my understanding is most charging stations pull a very high voltage- so even businesses/facilities that have them and are open under generator power would likely not have the chargers working.

I've used two charging stations in the past few days. One is in Cotati next to the Police Station, in a community Room building, with several round tables, coffee, and bottled water. The other is in the RP Community Center....very nice couches, purified air, snacks, and several charging stations. Right now I'm at the Cotati Starbucks, near Oliver's, which just re-opened this morning. I rarely go to Starbucks or any coffee shop, but at 6am (my normal wake up time) I'm glad they're here.

I was evacuated twice, once from Windsor where I moved only 2 months ago, then from a Guerneville friend's home, only 3 hours after I arrived. Then I went to my friend's home in Cotati, where she was out of power, but had plenty of portable lights.

She charged her phone and DVD in her car which was in the garage. I came back from the charging station
to find exhaust fumes in the house, because she kept the door open from the garage to the house, wanting to be "safe". I immediately went upstairs the kitchen on the second floor, where I smelled gas from a burner that
had been left on. It may have been bumped? accidentally. I can understand how accidents happen when people are in these emergency situations and unable to think clearly.

the EV station near the public library in Rohnert Park has been operating without interruption for the past week.

there is a large group of Tesla stations near the public library at the Coddingtown shopping center. the center seems to back back in full operation, so presumably the Tesla EV stations are as well.
