David Talbot is the author of The Devil's Chessboard: Allen Dulles, the CIA, and the Rise of America's Secret Government; The Brothers: The Hidden History of the Kennedy Years; and Season of the Witch (San Francisco Politics), and others. All of his books are expertly researched as well as being real page-turners.
David Talbot is a journalist, author, and media executive. He is the founder and former Editor-in-Chief of the early web magazine, Salon. Salon gained a large following and broke several national news stories after its founding in 1995. It was described by Entertainment Weekly as one of the Net's "few genuine must-reads." Since leaving Salon, Talbot has written about the Kennedy Assassination, the Dulles Brothers, and other areas that he calls our "hidden history." He has worked as a senior editor at Mother Jones Magazine and has written for the San Francisco Chronicle, Time Magazine, the New Yorker, Rolling Stone, and several other national publications.
All three of the books mentioned above will be available at the event, and David will sign books after the presentation and Q&A.
