OCA is pleased to host the iconic Americana/electric guitar duo of right-side up finger picker Stevie Coyle and upside down flat picker Glenn Houston, known as The Quitters (http://www.thequittersduo.com/). Having each ‘quit’ some of the best bands in the business, both are late founding members of The Waybacks. Glenn was lead guitarist/co-founder of Bammie-winner Hearts onFire and co-founder plus lead guitarist of the powerhouse Americana quintet Houston Jones. Stevie Coyle has a long and illustrious career as an entertainer in music, including as frontman of The Waybacks; and in theater, television and comedy circuits.
Both are renowned players in music circles, being perennial Strawberry Music Festival favorites who have happily joined their considerable talents to become a guitar picking twosome. Mostly acoustic. Some electric. Much serendipity.
