Progressive Urgent Care, Sebastopol

We have used the new Urgent Care facility about 10 times and find the service to be excellent and the prices reasonable. The staff is exceptionally nice.
They are somewhat slow in billing, but that's their problem.
I highly recommend it.

I had the opposite experience. Went to urgent care to have a foreign object removed from my eye. There was no physician present and the nurse practitioner was unable to do this competently and misdiagnosed the problem. Next day a visit my doctor removed the wood sliver in two minutes. Should something serious occur go to a clinic where you are assured a physician is on site.

Went there recently for the first time and had a mixed experience. My partner got poison oak bad for the first time in her life. As a medical practitioner herself she's not an easy patient. The initial intake was frustrating because a verbal phone confirmation from our insurance was needed. Ever call an insurance company? After my wife quickly ripped them a new asshole for this inanity we saw the doctor. I thought he was pretty good and clearly knew the problem. She didn't like him, but she was suffering. More empathy and less humor would have worked better for her. It was pretty quick!

And going to the Sebastopol family pharmacy across the street was assume! They totally had the insurance thing down and everything we needed on the shelf and in the back, very quick. Forget rite aid, cvs and safeway, go there!
